Hugh Simpson (Contractors) Ltd unloaded 775 pipes (11.9-12.5 m long with 219-406 mm outer diameter from marine vessel H&S Prudence, which arrived in Wick Harbour on 22/10/2019. Two cranes rigged with spreader beams and pipe shoes were set up, to unload pipes on to the quay. On the quay we use Dhatec pipe storage system. This system can be easily adjusted to different pipe diameters and is completely safe to store pipes until further transportation to their final location.
Pipes will be stored on the quay until transported to customer site.
