Lifting 14 cable reels, MV Baltic Moon in Wick Harbour

Hugh Simpson (Contractors) Ltd. discharged 14 cable reels that were delivered to Wick Harbour.

Mobile crane wad positioned and set up. The boom was set to the desired lengths.
An exclusion area was created with Heras fence set up around the operational area.
Laydown area for the reels was identified on the quayside.
Lift supervisor carried out toolbox talk with all involved personnel and directed all personnel to their required locations.
Banksman guided the cranes over the vessel and slingers on the vessel attached the slings to the cable reel.
Once connected the crane drivers slowly raised the reel and the banksman guided the crane above the laydown area on the quayside.
Once secure in position the quayside slingers release the lifting equipment, crane was de- rigged and left site.
